Charles A. Wenzel, DO, JD, MPH, CIME, CLCP graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 2002, then served in the United States Air Force in the Judge Advocate General until 2005. He then practiced corporate law in New York until 2007 before deciding to change careers.
He completed a postbaccalaureate Premedical Program at Harvard in 2009, and taught a chemistry section as a teaching fellow there while completing his coursework.
He later earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. He earned his Masters of Public Health degree in 2017 and completed an Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
Before joining Medix Occupational Health in 2019, Dr. Wenzel practiced occupational medicine and personal injury care for 4 years in Denver, Colorado. He is board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has performed Division Independent Medical Examinations for the State of Colorado.
